Lauren Diewold (born August 17, 1990) is an Canadian child actress.

Biography

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Diewold is the daughter of Susan and Timothy Diewold. She is also the younger sister of actress Justine Diewold.

Diewold got her first television guest role on Fox's "Millennium" TV series episode "Monster" as Danielle Barbakow in which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for her work in the episode. That performance won her the role on The X-Files as Emily Sim.[1]

She also played Sherilyn Fenn's daughter Emma Burke in the movie "Nightmare Street" and Andrew McCarthy's daughter Shannon Smith in the movie "A Twist of Faith".

She graduated in 2008 from Notre Dame Regional Secondary School in Vancouver, British Columbia.
